On the 11th, Diesel celebrated its 30th anniversary with 5,000 of its closest friends in a enormous circus tent under the Brooklyn Bridge in New York. The evening featured a billboard of big name artists including N.E.R.D., M.I.A., T.I., Chaka Khan, Hot Chip, and more. With their “Rock and Roll Circus” atmosphere, there were the two open bars, hot dogs, pretzels, cotton candy and more fun stuff to have.

Though the architect Zaha Hadid designed the Chanel Mobile Art exhibit, she’s also know as a show woman. She has collaborated with Aussi label Melissa on a pair of rubber shoes and her most recent fashion collaboration is with LACOSTE on their shoes. Lacoste previewed the spring 2009 foorwaer at the Frieze Art Fair in London and please see the photos. The actual shoes haven’t been made yet but those are from her digitizing images. We all re very excited to see what will be her accomplishment.

Last week was Paris Fashion Week Spring 2008 and a new collaboration was announced. It’s the new Evian haute couture bottle that Jean Paul Gaultier designed. In the second of its designer series (the first pairing was with Christian Lacroix), Evian announces its release of two bottles designed by the Hermès creative director.
